First Place Finish

Our U 12 boys have played 4 tournaments this year and have won first place in 3. We took the title in a thrilling 2-1 come from behind win at the Jefferson City tournament.

Then a few weeks later the team packed up and headed to Nashville TN. The boys went 4-0 and brought home another 1st place trophy.

The following weekend we headed west again to Columbia where we again went 4-0 and another 1st place trophy. Also a very bright spot the boys did not allow a single goal in the entire weekend.

Two weekes later the crew packed up again and headed north to Chi town The first two games were outstanding. Both games were come from behind wins and looked like another first place finsh was headed our way. I think the boys stayed up to late on Saturday night thinking another title would be easy. Well Sunday morning they were not on there best game. They forgot we had one more win to secure a spot in the finals. Well we made it home ealry on Sunday. Don't worry we will head back up there next year to take our title home with us.

The next weekend was a home tournament. Tony Glavin sports complex. Well of course since we stayed in town it rained and rained. Needless to say we are still looking for the fourth title of the year. The tournament was rained out.

We have one chance left. The Lou Fusz tournament May 19-21. Come out and cheer us on as we pick up number 4.
